War...future...democracy... Brian has taken his camera to over 100 countries to photograph people's reactions to a series of 13 words. The verbal, one word responses are seen on a multi-screen video installation which pictures the respondents against their national flags. It is a colorful and thought provoking display.
Brian is an internationally known Artist who lives here in Shenandoah County. We are very fortunate that he has agreed to bring his exhibition to the Woodstock Historic Courthouse Saturday, May 25th at 10 AM.
Jeanette Smith of VineSmith Vineyard Services will discuss the history of the Virginia wine industry and the challenges of growing grapes in Virginia. The experience will culminate in a sampling of 5+ Virginia wines.
There will be a $10 fee to cover the cost of the wines for the tasting portion of the evening
Homemade Soups, Breads and Desserts will be provided.
Speakers will include Holly Huddle discussing State & Local campaigns, Lee Scharf reviewing frequently asked questions & legality issues and Beverly Harrison addressing Diversity & Inclusion in the ERA.

Since we find ourselves with the makings for 5 gallons of Ray's Righteous Chili...we will be planning our own Chili-Fest at the cafe either this Friday or one day next week. The event will run until 5 PM and boast of a theme "ALL Things Chili"

Local Photographer, Peggy Easterly, of ImageGrafx, will be present to record those moments your fuzzy butted friend will share with Santa, explaining canine hopes for the upcoming holiday seasons. Organic dog biscuits will be on hand for the asking, as well as faux-biscuits for the humans at the other end of the leash.
